Students continue to learn new ways to develop their academic skills using
on-line web-based instructional web sites that supports
classroom related assignments.

The mission of the academy emphasizes the development of the whole child. Children learn best when students are actively involved in a nurturing environment which is responsive to the needs and focuses on their development.

All Kindergarten students participate in a full day program. Grades 1-8 classes are designed to emphasize an increased love for learning. Students collaborate and develop critical thinking skills, academic, and social opportunities designed to engage the learner.
Students earn high school credit taking courses in the 8th grade that will count toward graduation. The academy offers a challenging curriculum with a emphasis in Math, Science and Technology.
Academic achievement is a top priority. Students strive to become members of the Honor Roll where they receive academic honors and recognition for being a member of the Honor Roll for the entire school year
The Academic and Accountability Plan for Hamilton County Mathematics and Science Academy reflects principles underlying effective instruction in Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, Social Studies, Technology, Physical Education, Music, Foreign Language and Art for all students.

In 2008-2009 the academy added the 7th grade and in 2009-2010 we added the 8th grade and serve over 400 students. Our entire staff is committed and we have high expectations.
